How do I bill for partial retention release?

Retainage has to be unlocked by the general contractor before retention can be billed. How do I unlock retainage for a subcontractor SOV? 

1. Create an Application for Payment (AFP).
2. Reduce the Work & Material Retainage percentages in the boxes on the left.  (Ex. If retainage was 10% and you are billing half, enter 5% in the Work & Material Retainage boxes).  
3. Click Save.
4. Satisfy any submission requirements and click Submit.
