April 2026 Release Notes

In April 2026, GCPay released the following features, enhancements, and bug fixes:

CMiC Posting Options

We added a date picker for integrated CMiC users, allowing them to select the a default posting date (i.e. last day of the month, exported date, and other configurable options) or a manual accounting date. This functionality more closely mirrors our other integrations.

VAT Support for Acumatica

GCPay now pulls VAT tax details via our Acumatica integration, which is especially valuable to GCs operating in Canada. GST/HST tax percentages established in Acumatica can be pulled into GCPay at the line-item.

OAuth 2.0 Support for Acumatica Service Accounts

Acumatica Integrations can now authenticate using OAuth 2.0 in addition to the existing basic authentication method. The connection setup screen has been updated to support the newer Acumatica API endpoint version (24.200.001) with an improved OAuth configuration experience.

Spectrum Integration Stability Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where ambiguous invoice matches during sync caused an error instead of being skipped.
  • Fixed an issue where finding multiple payment records for the same invoice caused a sync failure when resolving paid status.
  • Compliance requirement lookups are now skipped on the initial sync for new Spectrum connections, improving first-sync performance.

Bug Fixes and Small Updates

Acumatica Retainage Percentage Fix

Fixed a bug that was adding retainage percentage to VAT tax for integrated Acumatica customers.

Tiered approval bug

skipped approval tiers when a first-tier reviewer approved an item and the All approvers are required for approval setting was selected in Project Settings.

Queued Payments duplicating

Guardrail preventing duplicate payments from generating in the Queued Table when a user double-clicks in quick succession.

Acumatica image uploads

Fixed a bug that prevented AFP attachments from uploading to Acumatica at export when unsupported characters were used in the file name.
